Johny Family

I have been a disciple of Jesus for the last 16 years and my wife Annie for nearly 17 years. We have been married for nearly 13 years and have 3 kids : Samuel ” nearly 10 years old, Samantha ” 7.5 years old and Sean ” 4 years old. We have gone thro’ numerous challenges in our Christian lives and are very grateful to God that we have stayed faithful and have the zeal to reach out to many who are lost. I am very grateful to the brothers who taught me true discipleship in 1991 and that motivated me greatly. I had an opportunity to serve in the fulltime ministry along with my wife for nearly 5 years and learned a lot and that has helped me a lot ever since I began working in the IT industry from 1997. I now work with IBM, India as a Regional Manager Read the rest of this entry »

Matthew 10:1-42

Mission! When I say that word, what is the first thought that comes to mind. For most of us it is probably the idea of going to some foreign land to preach the Gospel. Yet there are many different missions that we can be a part of. We, my friends are on a mission. Just before ascending into heaven Jesus told His disciple’s to go an preach. That message, and that charge, has been left for us as well.

However, that was not the first time Jesus sent His disciple’s out into the mission field. Jesus sent His disciples out on a mission. As we read this passage of Scripture there are some valuable lessons that we can learn as we accomplish the mission that Jesus has left for us.1. The Mission’s Purpose. The disciples had to know what it was that they were supposed to accomplish. Read the rest of this entry »

“What an amazing teaching is been given in the church here, if a man don’t change after listening to all these teaching, then when can he change” this is the comment shared by a friend who came for the first time to the church. This Sunday was an amazing Sunday as we all witnessed God’s presence in the service. We all are felt so happy and glad to see five new faces among us in this Sunday..!! it is really awesome when we get busy in God’s work.

For the past few days there are lots of gossips (what we are doing separately with kip is wrong) going around about us in our former fellowship. Stating about certain statements which we never used.

Is it a Crime to do Christ’s work?

Is it a Crime to bring back the fallen aways?

Is it a Crime to build the Christ’s Church?

When we were in Indian Church of Christ we did the same thing and kip was the leader at that time. Today also we are doing the same thing and kip is the leader as well. What is wrong in this? We humbly request the ICC leadership to look in to the matter and stop the gossips going around.

The much we are criticized, the more we grow. While thinking about this I remind of a Portland Song where it says: “People are criticizing; we are just baptizing” we want to follow that…!

Think before you speak; as you are not speaking about us; you are questioning Jesus..! more than looking in to each other, lets start looking around,as there are so many souls to be saved..as that is the purpose for what Jesus has chosen us…!

aaa

Our Ministry was in full joy and super fired-up as we witnessed our first “baby showering” our church. As we have already said about the awesome way of God’s blessing for Mahesh and Vasanthi. This was another joyful moment as this was their baby showering……!!

The baby is named “MAGDIEL” Everyone who had visited, had a round of sharing about this wonderful couple. That moment was really awesome and moving as everyone spoke from the bottom of their hearts!! The couple stays in Nalla sopara and brother Mahesh is an awesome man of God who always keeps smiling in all the trials and happiness. He is the one who walks with hand in hand, shoulder to shoulder to do Christ’s work with us..!

As a church it was really moving as every one of us in the church was attending our first Ceremony. After the ceremony we had a super dinner prepared by sister babitha. As we all were their way to their avenues the scripture where it says: “Those who trusts in the Lord are like mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever” Psalm 125:1 which was coming to our mind and we felt how true it was….!!

Mathew: 9:35-38 Jesus went about all the cities and the villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness among the people
36: But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion for them, because they were harassed and scattered, like sheep without a shepherd
37: Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest indeed is plentiful, but the laborers are few
38: Pray therefore that the Lord of the harvest will send out laborers into his harvest.”
It’s time that we, as the church of the Lord Jesus Christ, who died and rose again… Move from a state of survival to a state of Revival…!
We are a Tiny church, I would say it’s a newly borne church……..but in the spirit we need to be super fired up……….to Evangelize the world in this generation!! Read the rest of this entry »

” I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I promised Moses.Your territory will extend from the desert to Lebanon, and from the great river, the Euphrates-all the Hittite country-to the great sea on the west.No one will be able to stand up against you all the days of your life.As I was with Moses,so I will be with you; I will never leave you not forsake you”.{Joshua 1: 3-5}

How true this scripture is! Wednesday we had an inaugural devotion at Nalla Sopara (just two km away from Vasai) on the very first meeting, God has blessed us with five more souls!! Three of them want to study the bible. Every one was exited about their newly found vision!! Read the rest of this entry »

      Brother Parthiban

Luke:15:20-22 “He arose, and came to his father. But while he was still far off, his father saw him, and was moved with compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in your sight. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’
“But the father said to his servants, ‘Bring out the best robe, and put it on him. Put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet.
Bring the fattened calf, kill it, and let us eat, and celebrate;
for this, my son, was dead, and is alive again. He was lost, and is found.’ They began to celebrate.

That’s what we felt; even Lord would have felt when Parthy got restored. Read the rest of this entry »
